Literacy night tomorrow at 6! Canadian theme, wear red and white to school or jersey of your favorite Canadian sports team.  Wacky hat day is Friday.
Today we are bringing home the toy/game we made for science.  Ask me to explain how magnets make it work and how I built it.  Halloween dance is Oct. 25!  Mark your calendar! 6:30 start.

Ask me about the toy or game that I built using the Maker Cart (recycled materials) and magnets.  Ask me about the writing I did where I used red, green and black pencils to learn about nouns, verbs and adjectives.  I can give you an example of each.

Hawkwood School will be having their semi-annual book fair November 19-22nd. Once again we accepting donations of children’s and adult’s books for our Fall Book Fair. Please consider donating popular titles for children such as:

Diary of a wimpy kid

Bad guys series

Dog man

Mighty robot

Amulet

Elephant & piggie books

Branches series including Dragon Masters

Any books by Raina Telgemeier (graphic novels)

Please do not bring textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines or any items that are too outdated. Used books can be dropped off in the foyer across from the office.
